Former Journey frontman Steve Perry recently shared a visualizer for his recording of the classic “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve.”
Perry’s version of “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve” features on the first holiday record of his career, The Season, which dropped on November 5 via Fantasy Records.
“I hope when people hear this record, they’re teleported in the same way I was when I recorded all these songs-I hope it brings them back to those golden moments with their loved ones and gives them that feeling of joy and connection and comfort that we all need so much,” Perry had previously said about the album.
“What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve” was written by the legendary Frank Loesser back in 1947. It has been covered by several singers over the years, including, Ella Fitzgerald, Johnny Mathis, Norah Jones, Harry Connick Jr., and Rod Stewart.
