The Rolling Stones will release a reissue of Tattoo You on October 22, marking the 40th anniversary of the rock group’s 1981 album.
The reissue will be accompanied by a bonus disc that features many previously unreleased tracks, including “Living in the Heart of Love”.
The Tattoo You 40th-anniversary set will be released in several physical formats. The two-CD set will feature just the remastered album and Lost & Found: Rarities, while the four-CD box set will include the original album, Lost & Found, and the 1982 Wembley Stadium concert.
Lost & Found includes nine rarities from the album’s era. Still Life: Wembley Stadium 1982, is a live album that includes covers of the Temptations and the Miracles, as well as relatively early outings of Tattoo You tracks.
The album will also be pressed in several vinyl formats, including a five-LP box set that also comes with a hardback book featuring rare photos and interviews with producer Chris Kimsey and photographer Hubert Kretzschmar.
