Ringo Starr is releasing a new hardcover coffee table book, titled “Lifted – Fab Images and Memories in My Life With the Beatles From Across the Universe,” on February 14.

The book, which will be available exclusively online at Julien’s Auctions, will benefit the Lotus Foundation charity, which supports and promotes charities that focus on substance abuse, brain tumors, cancer, battered women and children, homelessness and animals in need.

“I am not writing this book as a Beatle historian,” the Beatles drummer said in a statement. “I’m writing this book as a Beatle – and there’s only a couple of us who can do that.”

The latest book from Starr will feature never-before-told tales as well as include a photographic journey of the Beatles era.
