Phil Collins has made it clear that Genesis‘ upcoming renuion tour “The Last Domino?” will be the band’s last and will not be extended beyond 2021, as the name of the tour teases.

Interviewed in the November issue of Mojo, Collins dismissed the idea that the trio might extend their current tour into 2022. “This English and American tour, that will be enough for me,” he said.

When asked if he is officially removing the question mark from the title of the tour, Collins replied, “Yes. The question mark was Tony Banks‘ idea.”

Meanwhile, Banks is still open to extending the band’s tour. “I think it depends a little bit how it goes,” the keyboardist said. “How Phil stands up to it all. How the audience receive it, and how we all feel about it, really.”

Collins will not be able to play drums for the British progressive rock band’s first tour in 14 years. The band has recruited Collin’s son Nic Collins to replace him as the drummer for “The Last Domino Tour?”

“I can barely hold a stick with this hand. So there are certain physical things which get in the way,” the 70-year old Collins had said in a BBC Breakfast interview.

“I’m kind of physically challenged a bit, which is very frustrating ’cause, you know, I’d love to be playing up there with my son,” added Collins, who has a nerve problem in his left hand, hearing issues and suffered a spinal injury in 2007 and a head injury a decade later.
