KISS frontman Paul Stanley has tested positive for Covid-19, forcing the iconic rock band to postpone their show at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, August 26.
“I had been sick with flu-like symptoms and was tested repeatedly and was negative. As of late this afternoon I tested positive,” Stanley said on Twitter. “The crew, staff and band have all tested negative once again.”
A statement from KISS noted everyone on the band’s “End of the Road” tour are fully vaccinated, with the band and crew operating in a bubble independently to safeguard everyone as much as possible.
KISS subsequently announced shows in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Saturday (August 28) and in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday (August 29) are being rescheduled.
All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date once announced.
