KISS guitarist/singer Paul Stanley has been infected with the coronavirus for the second time in six months.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Stanley confirmed that this time he has tested positive for the highly transmissive Omicron variant.
“My Omicron face! Yup. My entire family has it. I’m tired and have sniffles. Most of my family have absolutely no symptoms. Do as you choose. I’m so glad I’m vaccinated,” he captioned a photo of him taken after he contracted the viral disease.
KISS had to postpone their U.S. tour dates in August after Stanley and bassist and co-lead singer Gene Simmons tested positive for Covid-19.
The rock band was also forced to cancel its Las Vegas residency after the pandemic claimed the life of long-time guitar tech Fran Stueber in October.
In the next month, Stanley’s father William Eisen died at 101.
