Joni Mitchell has joined Neil Young in demanding that her music be pulled from Spotify in protest against misinformation spread about the Covid vaccine on the streaming service.

“I’ve decided to remove all my music from Spotify. Irresponsible people are spreading lies that are costing people their lives. I stand in solidarity with Neil Young and the global scientific and medical communities on this issue,” Mitchell said in a brief statement she posted on her official website with the title, “I Stand With Neil Young!”

She cited a link to an open letter signed by the global scientific and medical communities asking Spotify to implement a misinformation policy and criticizing the streaming platform for hosting Joe Rogan‘s podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
