Bryan Adams recently dropped a new single, titled “Kick Ass,” from his 15th album, So Happy It Hurts, which is scheduled to be released in March via BMG.
Co-written by Robert John “Mutt” Lange, “Kick Ass” features a spoken-word introduction by “Monty Python” icon John Cleese.
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth, then he created the waters and the land, and then he created man” Cleese says. “But man degenerated and descended into the black hole of making bad music. . There was no rock music.”
The iconic “Summer of ’69 “singer said the speech “sums up the song” and added, “There’s not enough rock ‘n’ roll in the world. … More guitars, more drums, join hands – let’s rock.”
