Abba have announced their return to the stage after a gap of four decades. The reunion will also see the release of a new album in November.
The album, titled Voyage, will be the pop legends’ first studio album for 40 years.
Voyage, featuring 10 new songs, will be released on November 5. The first two singles, “I Still Have Faith in You” and “Don’t Shut Me Down,” were both premiered during a globally-streamed press conference on Thursday.
The album will be followed by a “revolutionary” set of concerts that will bring all four members of the band together again.
ABBA’s avatars will be accompanied by a 10-piece live band, in a custom-built arena at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London.
Concert tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 am (UK time) on September 9. The new album can be pre-ordered from the official music store, before 12 pm (UK time) on Saturday.
The quartet, consisting of Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, split up in 1982.
