Food Bank of The Rockies
Even in this “land of plenty” there are many people who don't have enough to eat. In the area served by Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR), over 451,000 people live in poverty and struggle to meet their basic food needs; over 151,000 of them are children. Food Bank of the Rockies distributes food to over 970 hunger-relief programs ranging from small faith-based food pantries to large organizations with national support. The many programs that rely on FBR reach all varieties of people who need a helping hand. You can make a different in the lives of hungry children, seniors, and families.
Food Bank of the Rockies will happily accept your donations of money, food, and/or volunteer time. Every $1 donated to FBR enables us to provide 4 meals to people in need through our member agencies. Last year FBR received more than 434,000 pounds of non-perishable food through food drives. This year FBR makes it easier than ever to donate food with our new “Virtual Food Drive”. Volunteering with is also an important contribution, and FBR is very dependent on the generous donation of our volunteers’ time. Because of people like you, thousands of children, seniors, families, and individuals receive the food they need.
