For 20 years, KOOL 105 has been your home for Mile High Hits. You've let us in to your home and your hearts. You've also supported KOOL and many charitable causes, helping people all over Denver, and for that we thank you! But our work isn't done yet. This web page is a chance for us to increase public awareness of some of our favorite causes and charities around the metro area. So if you have a few extra hours or a few extra dollars and are looking to donate to a reputable charity, you can count on KOOL's Cause of the Month to keep you up to date. Thanks for caring, Denver!
Mi Casa Resource Center for Women, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Colorado non profit corporation. Our main office is in Denver Colorado at 360 Acoma Street. We have an office in Pueblo Colorado serving Pueblo and Colorado Springs.
Our mission is to advance self-sufficiency for primarily low-income Latinas and youth.
We accomplish our mission by offering entrepreneurial training and small business planning; job training, placement and career counseling; GED and English as a Second Language classes; education, wellness and youth leadership activities; and community development.
You are invited to join us for Success Stories, a one-hour presentation and tour of Mi Casa. This is a great way for you to learn more about Mi Casa and the great work that we do!

How You Can Help . . .
As Mi Casa prepares for another year of providing cutting-edge programming to the community, we ask for your support. There are many ways that you can support Mi Casa:
1. Make a donation to Mi Casa. By using the Network for Good system, you can make a secure, online cash donation to Mi Casa. If you would prefer to contact Mi Casa directly to make a credit card donation, please contact us at 303-573-1302. We also accept checks, made payable to Mi Casa Resource Center for Women, Inc.
2. Celebrate the holidays with a floral arrangement from flowerpetal.com. Flowerpetal.com has over 400 fresh flowers and gift baskets that can be delivered the same day and 12% of all sales come back to Mi Casa. You can also make an additional donation to Mi Casa when you place your order. You can access this through our website at http://micasadenver.flowerpetal.com.
3. Search the Internet and donate at the same time. Search the internet with GoodSearch.com, a new search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it’s powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results. All that you need to do is go to http://www.goodsearch.com/ and be sure to enter Mi Casa Resource Center for Women as the charity you want to support.

KOOL Cause of the Month Partners with the Daniels Fund:
KOOL 105 is proud to partner with the Daniels Fund for Cause of the Month. Philanthropist Bill Daniels loved America and believed each of us has a duty to offer help and hope to others. He established the Daniels Fund in 1997 to support programs that encourage personal responsibility and achievement. When Bill died in the year 2000, the bulk of his estate transferred to Daniels Fund, making it the largest foundation in the Rocky Mountain Region.
In the Fund's articles of incorporation, Bill directed the foundation to concentrate its efforts in two primary areas: College Scholarships and Community Support, including programs designed to help the homeless, physically handicapped and elderly individuals, as well as those suffering from substance abuse and mental handicaps.
